FLAMENCO EMERGING TALENT

Siudy Garrido

Artistic Director

Emerging Talent was born from the desire to open the stage as a territory of discovery. A place where each performer can encounter themselves within the work, inhabit it with freedom, and begin to reveal their own voice. The repertoire brings together traditional choreographies of my creation and material developed during The Creative Process with José Manuel Álvarez. Within this journey, different expressions of flamenco coexist: stylized dance, technical rigor, the power of movement, and, at the same time, the deepest roots of the form, where cante and guitar sustain the truth of the stage. This project represents the possibility of seeing a work continue its journey through other bodies, other sensibilities, and other ways of feeling. Each performer receives a language, but also transforms it. And it is precisely in that encounter between creation, tradition, and the individuality of the person who brings it to life that the stage acquires a new dimension. Emerging Talent was created to open that space. A space where the work remains alive, expands, and discovers new ways to breathe.
