Back-to-back earthquakes of magnitude 7.1 and 7.5 struck near Caracas, causing widespread building collapses and leaving families and children in desperate need of shelter, food, and medical care.
Relief teams are on the ground now, racing to assess the damage and reach the hardest-hit communities. Partnering with their long-term ally I Love Venezuela, GEM's recon and emergency response teams are arriving to assess widespread building collapses and urgent community needs — leveraging the smart partnerships built during their 2019 Venezuelan refugee crisis response to maximize reach and efficiency.

Following the devastating earthquake in Venezuela, We Love Foundation Inc. — doing business as I Love Venezuela Foundation — launched an emergency relief campaign for affected families and communities. For more than 13 years it has worked through trusted global partners, including Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), alongside Venezuelan nonprofits, volunteers, and teams on the ground. All donations go to the foundation's organizational account and are used exclusively for earthquake relief, deployed through trusted partners and local organizations serving the affected areas.

For more than 30 years, Hogar Bambi has cared for Venezuela's orphaned and vulnerable children. Many children have been left without their guardians by the earthquake and need protection, food, medical attention, and a safe environment. Hogar Bambi helps these children directly.
